Head of the Department of Economics

The department is an integral part of the structure of the Faculty of Digital Economics and Artificial Intelligence and carries out educational, scientific and methodological work among students and teachers.

There are 39 professors and teachers working at the Department of Economics. Including:

• 1 - Doctor of Science;

• 15 - senior teachers;
• 14 - assistants;
• 3 - colleagues.

Teachers of the department teach students in 96 academic subjects and 6 specialties: 1-25010410 (financial management) and 1-25010805 (accounting, analysis and audit in industry), 1-250104 (finance and credit), 1-26020109 (investment project management ), 1-26020203 (innovation management), 1-250103 (world economy), 1-890101 (travel and hotel business) prepares specialists with bachelor's and master's degrees.

The Department of Economics has been operating since the founding of the institute to this day.

From 2023 to the present - Sodikzoda Zafarsho Saijafar, Candidate of Economic Sciences, acting. Associate Professor - is the head of the department.
