Department for Women’s and Female Students’ Affairs

The Department for Women’s and Female Students’ Affairs at the Institute of Management, Technology, and Innovation in Kulob operates in accordance with the laws, strategies, and programs of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the Law on Education, the work plan of the Department of Educational, Propaganda, and Social Affairs, as well as the Charter of the Women’s and Female Students’ Council and other regulatory and legal documents in the field of education.

The total number of female students at the institute is 628, of which:

  • 411 study on a contract (paid) basis,
  • 184 study on a state-funded (budget) basis,
  • 3 are enrolled through the Presidential quota.

Additionally:

  • 80 female students come from low-income families,
  • 63 are married,
  • 56 reside in the institute’s dormitory.

Distribution of female students by faculty:

  • 166 at the Tajik-Russian Joint Faculty,
  • 86 at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology,
  • 18 at the Faculty of Engineering and Energy,
  • 56 at the Faculty of Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence,
  • 248 at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Distance Learning (243 on a paid basis, 5 on a budget basis),
  • 30 in the Master’s program,
  • 3 in the Doctoral (PhD) program (all through the Presidential quota).

Notably, among the female students:

  • 5 are orphans,
  • 56 have lost one parent,
  • 3 have disabilities.

A total of 56 female students live in the institute’s dormitory, and their living conditions are regularly monitored by faculty members and deputy deans for educational affairs.

Currently:

  • 68% of healthcare workers,
  • Over 73% of education professionals,
  • 27% of researchers,
  • More than 23% of those employed in agriculture are women.
