INFORMATION NOTE

About the Library of the Institute of Technology and Innovation Management in Kulob

The esteemed President of our country, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has emphasized the importance of library activities and the love for books:
"Respect for the homeland, pride in beloved Tajikistan, and love for every corner of it come from reading books correctly and understanding their content."

Currently, the library houses 15,200 titles of books, including:

• 2,000 educational books,

• 9,000 specialized books related to various fields of study,

• 1,600 methodological guides,

• 400 political books,

• 2,200 literary works.

Of the total number of books:

• 5,480 are in Tajik,

• 7,416 are in Russian,

• 2,304 are in other languages, including English, German, French, and Persian.

A survey of registered readers shows that the library has 1,020 members, including:

• 920 students,

• 80 faculty and staff members.

The overall circulation of library users is 70%.
In the current year, the library has acquired 198 new educational and other materials, amounting to 11,450 somoni.
The library is also subscribed to 27 periodicals, with a total cost of 17,490 somoni.

The reading hall has 50 seating spaces.
The electronic library contains 125,000 e-books and provides 24 seating spaces for users.

The library continues to serve as a vital resource for students, faculty, and staff, supporting education and research at the Institute of Technology and Innovation Management in Kulob.
