The Center for Computer Technologies and Information and Communication Technologies was established on October 25, 2003. The Center began its operations according to the work plan approved by the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Educational Technologies. The Center plays a significant role in the development of information and communication technologies used in the educational process.

- Providing information technology tools for all structural divisions of the university.
- Conducting regular technical diagnostics of information technology tools.
- Performing ongoing maintenance of information technology tools.
- Providing software for information technology tools.
- Mastering and implementing new information technologies in the educational process.
- Ensuring the functionality of the university-wide network and the Internet.
- Organizing training sessions and seminars on working with information technology tools and mastering new technologies and software.
- Offering IT services.
- Ensuring information security.
- Organizing and managing the video surveillance system on the university campus.
- Organizing and regulating short-term professional development courses.

Achievements: The Center for Computer Technologies has made significant contributions to the provision of multimedia technologies and other modern educational tools. In particular:
- 7 computer classrooms.
- Redesigning the university website with a modern layout.
- Establishing and launching an automated test-based exam acceptance program "asu.dtmik.tj."
In the field of preparing professionals in the ICT sector, the center's staff actively participates in seminars and training sessions organized by the center, constantly enhancing their professional skills and expertise.
