Department of Science and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel

The Department of Science and Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel is a structure of the Institute of Technology and Innovation Management in the city of Kulyab and regulates the organization and conduct of research at the Institute.

The main purpose of the department's activity at the Institute is to achieve new scientific and technical achievements, solve various scientific issues that contribute to the development of the economy, social sphere and culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Department carries out its activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, orders and instructions of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, resolutions of the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, regulations of the Department of Science and Training of scientific and pedagogical personnel of the Institute, the charter of the institution of higher professional education, orders of the Rector of the Institute, by the instructions of the Deputy Rector for Science and Applications and other regulatory legal acts in the field of education and science.

The main task of the Department of Science and Training of scientific and pedagogical personnel is:

• identification of the main and priority areas of research work of teachers and lecturers, doctoral students in the field (PhD), doctoral students, undergraduates, applicants and students of higher educational institutions;
• coordination of scientific work carried out at the departments in order to carry out complex fundamental, research and practical work;
• development of draft business contracts for scientific research and contracts for the implementation of scientific and technical achievements with institutions and organizations;
• drafting and execution of creative cooperation agreements;
• ensuring the necessary scientific and technical level of research and their effectiveness, their application in production and educational process;
• monitoring the implementation of research plans of the Institute, faculty, department and individual plans of teachers in terms of research work;
• conducting an annual comprehensive assessment of the research activities of departments, teachers and lecturers in accordance with the established procedure;
• organization and holding of conferences, seminars, symposiums and other scientific events;
• organization of publication of collections of articles and scientific papers of the faculty and students of the Institute;
• coordination of the activities of the Council of Young Scientists, the student Scientific Society and student scientific clubs;
• organization and provision of materials to motivate the teaching staff and students to successfully conduct research, their active participation in conferences, seminars, symposiums and other scientific events;
• organization of exhibitions, competitions and demonstrations of scientific and research achievements;
• control over the scientific activities of undergraduates, doctoral students in specialties (PhD), doctoral students and applicants.
