Heroes of the Tajik people


 

Sadriddin Aini (1878-1954) was a Tajik writer, scholar and founder of modern Tajik literature. The first President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan. He is the author of the works "the history of the emirs of Bukhara Mangytia", "the history of the intellectual revolution in Bukhara", "an example of Tajik literature", "Dokhunda", "Slaves", "memoirs", etc., which were published abroad before the 29th century AD. In 1997, he was awarded the highest title of Hero of Tajikistan.

Bobojon Gafurov (1909-1977) was a scientist, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences, party and statesman, author of the world—famous book "Tajiks" and more than 300 works and articles. In 1944-1946, Second Secretary, in 1946-1956, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, in 1956-1977, head of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 1997, he was awarded the highest title of Hero of Tajikistan.

Emomali Rahmon is the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. On November 19, 1992, at the XVI session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, he was elected Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan. Mirzo Tursunzade (1911-1977) was a national poet, Chairman of the Writers' Union of Tajikistan, Hero of Socialist Labor, Chairman of the Asian and African Peoples Solidarity Committee. For the novels "The History of India" (1948), "Hassan the Carrier", "Eternal Light", "The Voice of Asia" (1960), "Sweet Soul" (1963), he was awarded the state prizes of the USSR, the Tajik SSR and the international prizes named after J. Nehru (1967) was awarded. In 2001, he was awarded the highest title of Hero of Tajikistan.
