The history of the Institute

The State educational institution "Branch of the Tajik Technological University in Kulyab" (hereinafter FDTC) was established in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 471 dated October 25, 2003.

The founder of the FDTTK is the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, which carries out educational activities in the field of higher professional education in areas (specialties) in compliance with identification and testing criteria with the license of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 0001026 dated February 29, 2012.

FDTC, as part of the structure of the Technological University of Tajikistan, carried out its activities in the system of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan. During the training process, the Branch acted in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Charter of the Tajik Technological University and its regulations, which were discussed and approved at the general meeting of teachers, students and staff of the branch of the Tajik Technological University in Kulyab at meeting No. 6 dated February 28, 2012.

On the basis of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 13, 2015 No. 149, he was transferred to the Institute of Innovative Technologies and Management in Dushanbe. Kulyab has been transformed. On the basis of this document, the order of the Rector of the Technological University of Tajikistan dated 30.03.2015 No.36/HU was issued, according to which an organizing committee consisting of 8 people was established to consider issues related to the implementation of the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the paperwork on the newly created state educational institution "Institute of Innovative Technologies and Management in Dushanbe". Kulyab". 

The Institute received a license with the designation AU No. 0001867 dated February 29, 2012, No. 3/29 and received the right to carry out educational activities in the field of higher professional education in 23 specialties in which it trains specialists. Also, according to the letter of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan dated December 26, 2014, No.05/2 – 1348, changes were made to the admission plan, that is, 8 new specialties related to the training of specialists in the textile industry, 3 of which were design.

In total, as of 06/18/2015, there are 4 faculties and 9 departments in the structure of the Institute, where 2113 full-time, master's and distance learning students study. In the 2014-2015 academic year, a total of 124 teaching staff were engaged in teaching activities at the Institute of Innovative Technologies and Management in Kulyab.

On the basis of the license of the "Agency for Supervision of Education and Science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan" for conducting educational activities with the designation T-IF No. 0002579 dated June 24, 2022 No.160, by order of the Director of the Agency for Supervision of Education and Science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 06/07/2022, No. 364, a permit was issued to conduct educational activities in the field of higher professional education in 36 specialties.
