      The Engineering and Technology Faculty is an integral part of the Institute of Technology and Innovation Management in Kulob and was established in accordance with the order of the Director of TTMIK and the decision of the Academic Council of TTMIK No. 1 dated August 30, 2016.

The teaching staff and public organizations of the Engineering and Technology Faculty follow the directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, as well as the strategies, programs, and resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the orders of the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the decisions of the Collegium of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the orders of the Director of the Institute of Technology and Innovation Management in Kulob, and the decisions of the Academic Council, making a significant contribution to the training of professional specialists.

The Engineering and Technology Faculty, as a center of knowledge and science, plays an important role in training highly qualified personnel in various fields of engineering and technology.

Currently, the faculty employs 37 teachers (professors, doctors of science, associate professors, candidates of science, senior lecturers, and assistants) within two departments: Food Technology and Light Industry Technology and Design. As part of the faculty's activities, meetings of the dean's office, the Academic Council, and the Scientific and Methodological Council are held, where issues related to educational, research, methodological, and educational work are discussed.

The faculty has classrooms equipped with modern innovative technologies, including 1 classroom with an electronic board and projector, 1 computer class with 20 computers, and specialized classrooms. Faculty teachers conduct theoretical and practical classes using modern technologies and visual aids in these classrooms, providing students with the necessary information on academic subjects using active learning methods and the Internet. Additionally, the faculty's departments have scientific literature, methodological guides, textbooks, scientific journals, and other materials that teachers use to prepare lectures, write articles, and scientific reports, while students use them to prepare coursework and diploma projects.

In the field of education, upbringing, and science, the Engineering and Technology Faculty establishes fruitful scientific connections with other universities and institutes within the republic and abroad, as well as organizes beneficial cooperation with industrial enterprises in the city and region of Kulob for the professional development and enhancement of students' knowledge and skills.

The faculty provides training in engineering and technology in the following specialties at two levels of education: bachelor's degree (full-time, part-time) and master's degree:

1-500101 - Technology of yarn, fabrics, textiles, and non-woven materials;
1-740206 - Production, storage, and processing of crop products;
1-500102 - Design and technology of garments;
1-0801011101 - Vocational training (light industry);
1-49010201 - Technology of meat and meat products;
1-49010202 - Technology of milk and dairy products;
1-50010104 - Fabric technology.

The main goals of the faculty for the new 2022-2023 academic year include:

Addressing and resolving issues related to faculty members with academic degrees and titles;
Increasing the participation of faculty members in republican and international conferences and increasing the publication of scientific articles and monographs;
Organizing and conducting scientific and methodological seminars to improve the qualifications of faculty members;
Improving the mechanism of cooperation between the faculty and industrial enterprises and enhancing the practical training of students;
Utilizing internal resources to improve the work of scientific circles within departments through active students and preparing participants for republican olympiads;
Ensuring the high-quality implementation of work plans by supervisors and individual plans by faculty members;
Maintaining a proper schedule of faculty duties in the academic building.

The faculty has signed bilateral cooperation agreements with a number of industrial enterprises in the city and region of Kulob, where practical classes, experimental work, and industrial training are conducted.

It is worth noting that to improve the quality of education, the professional development of students, and the integration of science with production, branches of specialized departments of the faculty have been established at industrial enterprises in Kulob, where practical and experimental classes are regularly conducted.
